The Cambridge Colloquy is not a conference—it is a space of formation for leaders called to meet this moment. The Colloquy gathers leaders to discern the work of the Holy Spirit in a volatile world and to clarify the demands of calling across the global church.
Description
The Cambridge Colloquy is a weeklong convening of Christian leaders and scholars at the University of Cambridge. Set within one of the world’s most historic academic contexts, the Colloquy is devoted to a pressing and generative question: What is the Holy Spirit doing in our volatile world? Across continents, Spirit-filled communities are discerning, improvising, and bearing witness in distinct ways. The Cambridge Colloquy creates a space to listen carefully to those voices—bringing leaders together to share insight, experience, and wisdom shaped in diverse cultural settings.
At its core, the Colloquy gathers leaders for thoughtful reflection on how the Holy Spirit is encountered, discerned, and embodied across varied contexts of ministry and vocation. Through lectures, guided conversations, and shared worship practices, participants engage one another with thoughtful and Spirit-filled attentiveness.
Through the Harris Institute’s partnership with North Central University, participants can also earn academic credit, combining disciplined study with immersive global engagement.
This is formation. This is education.

The Harris Institute invites Christian leaders—from within the church and across every sphere of vocation beyond it—to gather from diverse regions of the world for the Cambridge Colloquy.
In recent decades, scholars have observed a decisive shift in the center of global Christianity—from North America toward the Global South. Within this transformation, Pentecostal and Charismatic expressions of faith have emerged as a dynamic and expansive force, shaping the texture of Christian life and witness in profound ways.
